For councils & contract managers

Local authority textile collections, documented to contract standard

Bring banks, HWRCs or kerbside trials: the contract questions are the same. Where did the material go, what did it weigh, and can you prove both?

Textiles are still one of the awkward parts of the household waste stream, and provision is patchy: WRAP found that only 73 English local authorities offered a kerbside textile collection in 2023/24. However your service is set up, the contract manager’s job doesn’t change. Reliable servicing, clean paperwork, and reporting that survives an audit or an FOI request.

That’s the service we run. Planned collections from your sites, weights recorded at the point of collection, and duty-of-care transfer documentation as standard: the Environmental Protection Act paperwork your authority has to hold, handed over with every load. Weight and tonnage reporting is available per site and per period through our live reporting portal, so checking performance is a login, not a quarterly spreadsheet argument.

We’re members of the Textile Recycling Association and TRUST certified, an independent audit covering licences, insurance, worker treatment, transport and export due diligence. Kent County Council is among the organisations we serve.
